— Why Choose

Why Choose Generac PWRCELL Battery Storage

The Generac PWRCELL system is built on the same engineering standards and manufacturing quality that have made Generac the most widely installed standby generator brand in the country, now applied to home battery storage. The PWRCELL system uses a modular battery architecture, allowing capacity to be added in increments so your system can be sized precisely to your needs and expanded later if your energy goals change.

PWRCELL is designed to work seamlessly with Generac's own solar inverters as well as compatible third-party solar systems, and it can be paired with a Generac standby generator to create a comprehensive backup power system that combines battery storage for shorter outages with generator backup for extended multi-day power failures. This combination approach gives you the silent, instant backup of battery storage along with the extended runtime capability that only a fuel-based generator can provide.

The PWRCELL system is managed through Generac's mobile app, providing real-time monitoring of battery state of charge, solar production, home energy consumption, and backup status, giving you complete visibility into your home energy system from anywhere.

— Needs

When Your Home Needs Generac PWRCELL Installation

Generac PWRCELL is an excellent choice for homeowners who want battery storage from a brand with a long track record of reliability, those interested in combining battery storage with a Generac standby generator for comprehensive backup redundancy, households with or planning solar installations who want compatible battery storage, and homeowners who value the scalability of a modular battery system that can grow with their needs over time.

Common situations that make PWRCELL an appealing choice include homeowners who already trust Generac for standby generators and want a matched battery storage solution, those who want backup power that combines the instant response of batteries with the extended runtime of generator backup, and households looking to maximize self-consumption of solar energy while maintaining strong outage protection.

Professional installation is essential for PWRCELL systems given the complexity of integrating battery storage, solar inverters, and potentially a standby generator into a single coordinated energy system — work that demands licensed electrical expertise for safe, code-compliant, and warranty-protected results.

— Process

Our Generac PWRCELL Installation Process

Our PWRCELL installation process begins with evaluating your home's electrical system, your solar setup if applicable, and your backup power and storage goals. We assess your main panel capacity, evaluate solar compatibility, determine the appropriate PWRCELL battery configuration for your needs, identify optimal mounting locations, and coordinate any integration with an existing or planned Generac generator.

The installation involves mounting PWRCELL battery cabinets and modules at the selected location, installing the PWRCELL inverter and automatic transfer switch, connecting the system to your electrical panel and solar components with properly sized conductors, configuring the Generac mobile app for monitoring and control, and thoroughly testing all operating modes including grid-connected, battery backup, and combined generator-battery operation if applicable.

We handle all permitting, utility interconnection, and inspection requirements for your PWRCELL installation, ensuring full compliance and documentation to support tax credit eligibility.

— Standby Generator

PWRCELL with Generac Standby Generator

One of PWRCELL's most compelling advantages is its ability to integrate with a Generac standby generator, creating a layered backup power system that uses battery storage to handle outages instantly and silently, while the generator provides extended runtime for outages that last beyond your battery's storage capacity. This combination gives you the best of both technologies — the silent, immediate response of batteries and the unlimited runtime of a fuel-powered generator.

We design and install combined PWRCELL and Generac generator systems that coordinate seamlessly, ensuring your home has layered backup protection appropriate for both short outages and extended multi-day power failures common during Pacific Northwest windstorms.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Eddie was an absolute pleasure to work with. Due to a scheduling mix-up, I found myself in a real bind, with other workers scheduled for the following day who couldn’t do their jobs until I had electricity run above my fireplace. Eddie went out of his way to rearrange his schedule and somehow managed to get someone to my house within just a couple of hours.

The electrician he sent—I wish I could remember his name—did an excellent job. He asked lots of questions to make sure everything was done exactly the way I wanted it, carefully measured and double-checked the placement before drilling, and the finished work looks beautiful. He also cleaned everything up thoroughly before he left.

I really appreciated Eddie going above and beyond to help me out on very short notice. Great service, excellent workmanship, and a company I would definitely use again.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I found REddie Electric on a Google search looking to update all 9 of the hardwired smoke detectors in my home. Communication has been exceptional, I have been able to text with questions and requests, and received prompt responses, this quality of communication is really important in my world! I received a quote quickly for installation of 9 hardwired “smart” detectors, and was required to pay a 30% deposit to schedule.

Yasir arrived on time, was professional, and did an excellent job with installation, testing and clean up. Wonderful attention to detail and was kind enough to greet all my cats and allow them to “help out”. He connected all detectors to my WiFi and Ring app. I really appreciate the ability to be notified of alarms when I am away from my home, and to be able to turn them off without having to push the physical button.

I highly recommend REddie Electric, and will use them in the future for other services they offer.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Reddie Electric is the best. They are one of the few that handle 24 hour electrical issues. I had a power failure and it was 12am and Eddie was out there at 1am and worked until it was fixed. I use him for all of my electrical needs.

Found Reddie Electric on the web via Google. Had a problem with a single outlet that we couldn't figure out. They came and fixed it.
Thru conversation I realized that I wanted to fix the issues from our inspection from when we bought this house a few years ago. Discussed it with Eddie, the price was doable, time frame was fairly quick considering he had to set up with PUD to cut power and the county to have an inspection. Eddie & Yasir replaced our breaker box, changed 8 outlets to gfci, both inside and outside & added 2 junction boxes in the attic for wires that were just laying on the insulation.
Very happy with the results, everything looks good, everything works. We now have peace of mind now that our electrical is in good shape. Eddie always took the time to answer my questions and listen to me.
Pics show new stuff. You can see in the 3rd picture a hole in the wall on the right one of the previous owners had put an outlet there connecting it straight to the breaker box which would not have been code. They put a new outlet in for us down below.
Overall, I would hire Reddie Electric again and recommend him.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Reddie Electric really helped me out! At the last minute we needed help with a security system install. Eddie had me scheduled and had an electrician, Yasir, at my door the next business day. Yasir was a pleasure to work with. He was patient with my requests and took the time to understand my needs.

Thanks!

I'm new to the Area and Found REddie Electric LLC on Google. Submitted them a request to install a 240v outlet in the garage in order to have an EV car charger. They responded back super quick and gave me a solid fair quote for the work. I gave them a call and Eddie told me he'd be out the next morning. Super transparent communication. Pricing is great, and the work was done in a very timely manner. Eddie has a great work ethic and professional outlook on the jobs he takes. I'll definitely be back for more jobs.
