Honest and Upfront

We were dealing with a shorted circuit in our house for going on a month and every other electrician that came out for a quote to fix the issue would cost me 250+ ending with an astronomical quote. This was not only frustrating but costing me a fortune and making the problem less traceable the more each company had their hands on it.

I called REddie Electric and, after a few general questions on the issue and house, Eddie was able to give me a solid quote on replacing the outdated and rusted panel box along with the circuit to restore the power to the spare room in our house. We were scheduled within a week and the process spanned over 2 days with power only being out for a total of 7 hours on day 2.

They replaced our outdated 125 amp panel box with a new 200 amp panel box and quickly discovered a solution to the circuit problem that had been bugging us for weeks. The electricians Vadim and Yasir were super respectful of our home and always kept us in the loop with what’s going on. Vadim and Yasir came out to replace and rewire a faulty GFCI receptacle and they were super quick and efficient in getting it completed. Eddie was an absolute pleasure to work with. Due to a scheduling mix-up, I found myself in a real bind, with other workers scheduled for the following day who couldn’t do their jobs until I had electricity run above my fireplace. Eddie went out of his way to rearrange his schedule and somehow managed to get someone to my house within just a couple of hours.

The electrician he sent—I wish I could remember his name—did an excellent job. He asked lots of questions to make sure everything was done exactly the way I wanted it, carefully measured and double-checked the placement before drilling, and the finished work looks beautiful. He also cleaned everything up thoroughly before he left.

I found REddie Electric on a Google search looking to update all 9 of the hardwired smoke detectors in my home. Communication has been exceptional, I have been able to text with questions and requests, and received prompt responses, this quality of communication is really important in my world! I received a quote quickly for installation of 9 hardwired “smart” detectors, and was required to pay a 30% deposit to schedule.

Yasir arrived on time, was professional, and did an excellent job with installation, testing and clean up. Wonderful attention to detail and was kind enough to greet all my cats and allow them to “help out”. He connected all detectors to my WiFi and Ring app. I really appreciate the ability to be notified of alarms when I am away from my home, and to be able to turn them off without having to push the physical button.
